Our Client:
We are recruiting exclusively on behalf of a growing creative and inspirational Homewares brand based in Central London. Our client is going through an exciting time of growth and because of this is looking for an Assistant Merchandiser to join the team. The overall purpose of the role is to review stock and sales, ensuring that stock is ordered in the right volumes at the right time to optimise revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyse past and current sales and stock levels
Build reports and provide merchandising team with Admin support
This role puts the customer first and aims to make recommendations and decisions
Work closely with the Buying team to review weekly trading performance
Ensure all suppliers receives POs on time and systems are kept up to date
Monitor delivery schedule
Build great relationships with suppliers and freight forwarders
Ideal Candidate
Experience of working in a commercial environment, preferably within a retail business
Strong analytical and numerical skills
Strong Excel and Powerpoint skills
Commercial awareness
Passion for Homewares & Interiors
