Our Client:
A fast-moving and energetic homeware and interiors company based in central London. To support their next wave of growth, they’re building out the systems, structure and team to match their ambition – and that’s where the brand new role of Operations Executive comes in.
Role:
Customer and overseas team relationship
Manage the flow of information between customers and the overseas team, ensuring everything is shared and actioned promptly
Problem-solve and manage issues to ensure orders ship on time
Handle ad hoc customer requests for data and information
Order management
Input product and order data into internal and customer systems
Review weekly order reports and action data changes
Reconcile order data using index matches and VLOOKUPS to validate orders
Champion the adoption and practical use of AI tools across day-to-day operations from drafting communications and summarising reports to streamlining data tasks
Contribute ideas for process improvements and help evaluate and implement new tools or workflows
Support the build-out of systems as the business scales, assisting with configuration, testing and documentation
Stay curious about development in AI and operations technology, sharing useful findings with the team
Understand customer product testing requirements and ensure all orders are compliant
Act as the key operations contact for communication with SGS testing consultants
Ensure product testing is completes in a timely manner and within the critical path
Manage and review gold seal samples and QC/AQL inspections, flagging quality issues to management
Ideal Candidate:
Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Strong Excel skills
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

A willingness to learn and experiment with new technology
